Venado Creek Ranch offers trophy whitetail hunting that is second to none. Our ranch has produced whitetails Texas Whitetail Bucks scoring from management class to 250+ B&C class. Venado Creek Ranch produced the largest whitetail recorded in Texas in the 2008-2009 hunting season, and the largest whitetail ever killed in Texas with a bow! This buck won the Los Cazadores deer contest, the world’s largest whitetail contest. This incredible buck scored 252 4/8”!  The ranch is under an extensive whitetail management program to produce some of the largest whitetail bucks in Texas. Our management program is a work in progress to ensure the future of giant whitetail bucks on our ranch.  At Venado Creek Ranch, we believe that only the best will do.  In keeping with that, the ranch is stocked with some of the largest genetics in the country with sire bucks scoring over 300” BC. Venado Creek Ranch is permitted under Texas Parks and Wildlife MLD permit, offering Whitetail gun and bow hunts from the end of September through February as allowed by TPWD rules. Through the MLD permit a hunter is required to possess a valid Texas Hunting license, but will be issued a MLD permit tag at the ranch and will not be required to use any of the hunters issued deer tags.
