12/07/2011 - Giants Hitting the Ground in December

Its December and monster whitetail bucks are continuing to hit the ground at Venado Creek. Last weekend we harvested 4 bucks scoring 197, 205, 208, and 228.

10/05/2011 - 2011 Hunting Season Off To Great Start

Venado Creek Ranch hunting season is off to a great start. We opened the 2011 hunting season with three 200" whitetails being harvested. These three giants scored 238 5/8", 226 3/8", and 225 3/8". We also harvested the new possible SCI state typical record at 208". Stay tuned for more giants to hit the ground.

11/28/2010 - It's The Season For The Big Ones

What a season for harvesting big bucks at Venado Creek. In early August as the bucks were growing out, we thought it would be good, but never dreamed that it would be this good. The first two trophy whitetail bucks taken at Venado Creek scored over 500" total. As the season has progressed, we have harvested 5 bucks scoring over 215" and multiple deer scroring from 160"-200". Stay tuned for more updates as GIANT WHITETAIL BUCKS continue to hit the ground.
